Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, we had a belated birthday bbq for our daughter which was really lovely :)
I have a little 5x5 Christmas card to share today using a stamp/paper pad set free with a magazine recently.
I just used one of the papers from the pad, the image was coloured with Promarkers and matted onto some red card. I used a glitter gel pen on the stars on the flowerpot and the flower centres and also used the pen to doodle a border. I finished with some gorgeous red gingham ribbon.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges
The Holly and Ivy Challenge #13 - Anything Goes
ABC Christmas Challenge - R for Red
August Rudolf Day Challenge - Anything Goes
Thats all for now, have a great day !

Birthday Floral
Hi Everyone,
An early share for me today as I have been awake since 3am again, I have another card using one of the DSB 'Large Brush Script' sentiments. I really do love these they are so useful.
I made this card with a challenge in mind The Flower Challenge - Focus on Background Stamping after seeing Cara's lovely card on her blog.
I used one of Hobbycrafts bargain 50p single stamps to stamp the large flower, I picked up a few of the 50p stamps when I was in Hobbycraft at Christmas but I was a bit dubious if they would stamp well for that price. This is the first one I have tried and I have to say it stamped beautifully, I used 3 different Versacolor cubes unfortunately the lighter pink isn't showing up very well in the photo :(
I used a flower from an old magazine freebie set for the tiny flower which I stamped to fill in the gaps.
I matted the panel onto black card then printed the sentiment to size and cut it out using one of the Labels One Spellbinders die set, matting that onto a black label shape the next size up.
I resisted the urge to add pearls as it is one for the 'flat' box at slimming club.
I am also entering this into the DigiStamp Boutique August customer Challenge
That's all for now, Thank you for all of your lovely comments on my blog I appreciate every single one so much,

Anniversary Sparkle !
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all well, thank you for the lovely comments Freya received about her card they made her very happy :)
I had a lovely weekend crafting and managed to make quite a few cards I just haven't had chance to blog them until now but I will share two today to catch up a bit.
My first card is quite a CAS anniversary card using an Impression Obsession die
Very quick and simple, I just cut a piece of white hammered card a fraction smaller than my base card and used the IO heart die just below halfway. I backed the aperture with the gorgeous gold glitter card and then glued the heart die-cut back in. Finished it off with a Clearly Besotted sentiment and a few gold pearls.
My 2nd card is using one of the gorgeous Large Brush Script sentiments from DigiStamp Boutique which I love for quick cards and being able to print out to whatever size you need is brilliant.
I made a little A6 card this time as I wanted to use a Heartfelt Creations stamp which I have owned for years and never inked up. Now I have though I will be using it a lot more as it is a really versatile set.
I coloured the floral corners with Promarkers and backed onto gold mirri card. Lastly I added a little bit of sparkle with my WoS pen to the flower centres.
Again a very simple card.

Baby Dan
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all well and managing to catch a bit of sunshine in between the rain showers we have been having. I have a baby card to share with you today using a super cute DigiStamp Boutique image called 'Baby Dan'
To start I cut an aperture from my card using the largest die from Spellbinders Labels One set which I then backed with some aqua gingham paper from Buddly Crafts. I sized Baby Dan to fit inside the aperture and printed out onto super smooth card. I coloured him up with my Promarkers, fussy cut him out and attached him with foam pads.
I added a computer generated message and some LOTV tags, ribbon and charm from stash and also a few little dew drop type gems which I came across during my ongoing craft room re-organisation (I say ongoing because so far it has taken weeks ! not helped by the fact I keep getting sidetracked by goodies I had forgotten I had ;) ) I forgot to photograph the inside of the card but I decorated it to match using the same gingham paper and the label shape cut to make the aperture.

Before I go I wanted to share a photo of the card my 3 yr old granddaughter Freya made to give her Mum on her birthday this week....Freya sees me doing my blog and I'm always looking at all of you lovely crafty friends blogs and asked me if I could put a picture of her card on my 'game' as she calls it so how could I refuse ?
She was very proud of her work which I'm sure you can guess is a picture of her and her mummy, she even punched the flowers herself using a woodware punch. I wrote the sentiment for her in pencil and she traced it with her pen :)

Pamper Yourself
Hi Everyone,
Finally got here today, we have our granddaughter for the night and she has only just settled down the little monkey !
Today I am sharing the card I have made for our daughter's birthday tomorrow using Digistamp Boutique's 'Alyssa Relaxing'
I decided a while ago I was going to use this image when my daughters birthday come around as it is a bit of a standing joke that she spends half her life in the bath Lol
Then this morning the Dr Digi newsletter popped into my inbox with this new 'Bubbles' paper and it seemed meant to be ....
Any regular visitors to my blog may have noticed a lack of lilac/purple makes well to be honest this is the first time I have ever coloured in those colours so it was a bit out of my comfort zone...I tend to stick to pinks, greens and reds...but I had the lush purple ribbon and of course then found this paper so I put my big knickers on and gave it a go hehehe I'm quite happy for a first attempt though.
I added a computer generated sentiment, some pearls and also some stickles on the bath bubbles.

Karate Sammy
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are having a lovely weekend, the weather has certainly picked up :)
I have another male card to show you today, this time for a teen boy. I made this one for my friends son who is just becoming a teenager. I was struggling with ideas for his card as he isn't into football and I have made him skateboard related cards the last couple of years so didn't want to do another. Then up popped on facebook some photos my friend posted of him in his new karate kit and straightaway I knew which image I was going to use...DigiStamp Boutique's 'Karate Sammy'
The numbers are cut using a Stampin Up die, I stacked 2 black layers together and then coloured a white set bright red to match the brick and slightly offset them to get the shadow. I did the same with my new MFT Stitched Alphabet which I have been waiting to come back in stock for months since I saw them on Kat's card here and fell in love with them :)

Harry Fishing
Hi Everyone,
I have a lovely free weekend for crafting ahead of me so hoping to get quite a bit done, probably mainly Christmas themed as I am way behind on that front :)
The card I'm sharing this time though is a male birthday card using 'Harry Fishing' from DigiStamp Boutique.
I coloured him with Promarkers and matted him onto some black card, the backing papers are a digi download from Cuddly Buddly which I matted onto kraft, the scrim was from Ribbon Girl I think and the sentiment is Clearly Besotted.
I am entering this into the DigiStamp Boutique monthly challenge here

Fairy Sparkle
Hi Everyone,
Well I didn't quite make it before midnight but I wanted to share a fairy card I made over the weekend, I used some freebie stamps from a recent magazine.
I started by inking a strip of hammered card with distress inks - Broken China, Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserve. I then stamped 2 of the fairies from the set in Memento Onyx, the little can of fairy dust is a separate little stamp. I layered the strip onto a slightly larger strip of black card which I then mounted on my card. All I needed to do then is stamp the lovely sentiment from the set and add some little clear gems. You can't really see in the photo but I also added Wink of Stella to the fairy's wings and the fairy dust, it really sparkles IRL.
That's all for now,
Hugs, Kaz xxx

Blossom
Well I finally got here Lol....last week was one of those weeks where I was chasing my tail the whole time, trying to get orders finished, looking after my grand-daughter who also stayed with us for 3 nights too as her mum went away with friends. I have definitely lived up to my blog name recently and been visiting/commenting on your lovely blogs at 3am !
Anyway now I am finally here I will get on and show you my card
I used a lovely Wee Stamps digi 'Blossom', I coloured her with my promarkers and mounted her onto one of my last little pieces of this gorgeous sage green card which I bought years ago now from ebay and I have never found this colour since :( I also used some of my new Anna Marie paper. The striped ribbon was rescued from a flower basket I received and I just added twine, flowers, charm and pearls from my stash. Sentiment was a Nitwits magazine freebie ages ago and I stamped it in Memento 'Pistachio' to match the green card and papers, I did stamp it in black at first but it was too harsh I thought.
Thats all for now, I will be back later today with a Christmas card !
Hugs, Kaz xxx
Thanks to a heads up from Mrs A I'm entering this card into her Butterfly Challenge
