Hi Everyone,
I have another simple Christmas card to share today using a Woodware set, I think it's called Bubble Tree ?
I have had this stamp for about 3 years and never used it
I heat embossed the tree and sentiment in silver and coloured the bubbles/baubles with Promarkers, they then had a liberal coat of Wink of Stella but unfortunately that doesn't show up in the photo :(
A few clear gems just balanced the top right corner.
That's all for now,

Christmas Kisses !
Hi Everyone,
Today I'm sharing the Christmas card I made for my hubby using a Kenny K image called 'I'm Dreaming of a Wide Christmas' Lol as soon as I saw it I knew it would make him chuckle
I coloured her with Promarkers and used some freebie papers matted onto black card, I doodled some stitching around the image and sentiment which is from DigiStamp Boutique. I'm lucky in that he likes to see ribbon on a card so I could get away with the bow and then finished with some Joanna Sheen Snowflakes and red gems.
I really love how this card turned out and he loved it too :)
Challenges
As You Like It - Favourite Colour (Red and green is my favourite Christmas combo and I love to colour red !)
The Holly and the Ivy Christmas Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes
Craft-Dee BowZ November Challenge - Add a handmade Bow
Bye for now

Poinsettia and Sparkle
Good evening Everyone,
Hope you have all been having a wonderful weekend, I have been in my craft room all day today so I thought I would pop back to share a few of the cards that I made.
I was looking through my Christmas stash and I found a magazine freebie set of background stamps which I hadn't inked up yet so I started with those first.
These first two are 5x5" cards
This one was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and embossed with clear powder, I then coloured with Promarkers and matted onto black card. I popped it up on foam pads to the top half of the card and stamped the Clearly Besotted sentiment underneath. Finished by added gold liquid pearls to the flower centres.
This one was stamped in Versamark and embossed with silver powder, the sentiment is from a Woodware set. I cut the Joanna Sheen snowflake from a snippet of the sparkly silver card and finished with a green gem.
The next 3 cards were made using the DSB set 'Cute Family Banners' as I needed more flat cards
Only a tiny bit of colouring on these and a liberal amount of Stickles on the hats.
Be back tomorrow with another couple of Christmas cards, I must be nearing the end now ......

Under the Mistletoe
Good Morning Everyone,
My card this morning is one I have made for my bestie and her hubby using a DSB image 'Henry & Zoe Xmas Kiss'
It's an 8x8 card, the image is coloured with Promarkers and matted onto more of the silver sparkle card from yesterday's card and then onto deep blue card. I also cut the Memory Box 'Snowflake Corners' from the sparkle card as well. The papers are lovely freebie foiled ones I found in my snippets box, I only had 2 strips so I have added the other strip to cover the gap.
That's all for now,

Santa Alf !
Hi Everyone,
As many of you know I adore DigiStamp Boutique's character Alf so my Christmas makes had to feature him eventually lol
I've kept him fairly CaS positioning him to one side of the card and coloured him with Promarkers
I added a sentiment from another DSB set and matted him onto some of the gorgeous Papermill silver glitter card, it is so sparkly IRL , I used a Clearly Besotted flag die to cut a banner to match.
Some little red nail heads finish it off.
Do you ever make a card and wish you could send it to yourself because you don't want to part with it ?? Lol well this is that one for me :)
Challenges - to follow

Christmas Mouse House
Hi Everyone,
I'm still in Christmas card mode so I have an 8x8 card to share today with another LOTV Simply Print image
I have used Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes paper matted onto gold pearlescent card and Joanna Sheen snowflakes cut from gold vellum. The sentiment is DigiStamp Boutique.
This card will probably be on its way to one of my aunties in Spain I think, hopefully it will arrive earlier than last yr's middle of January lol

House Mouse
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all well and have had a great weekend :)
I have a Christmas card to share today using a little House Mouse image, I bought this stamp years ago but when it arrived it was a lot smaller than I thought and I didn't think I would ever use it but I found it again recently so I thought I would ink it up. I'm glad I did as it is really sweet.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and added Wink of Stella to the baubles which sadly you can't see in the photo. I also added Icicle Stickles around the edge and also the edge of the sentiment.
The papers are from a Bobunny pad 'Silver & Gold Collection'
I matted everything onto red card and finished with a little satin bow and pearls from my stash.
I would like to enter into the following Challenges:
House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #254 - Anything Goes
Thanks for the heads up Annie :)
I need to really crack on this week to get the rest of my Christmas cards finished, I'm determined that I won't be posting them last minute like last year !
Bye for now,

Winter Birthday - My Time to Craft Challenge #359
Hi Everyone,
I'm back with my second post of the day to share my DT card for the new Challenge over at My Time to Craft that starts today.
The theme is Winter Birthday and this is what I came up with
I used one of the new LOTV 'Modern Misses' ...this one is February but as it is a January birthday I have used the sentiment for that month. The plaid paper I found in my snippet box...I seem to have been using so many snippets lately but for some reason the box isn't getting any emptier lol
The wood effect paper is from a pad I got from The Works for £2 and it is such good quality, really thick paper. I matted onto Teal card and used a Martha Stewart punch for the border. The image is coloured with Promarkers and popped up on foam pads and I did some faux stitching around the sentiment.
Some lovely blue organza ribbon and pearls from my stash and thats it.
Don't forget to join us for the challenge, we look forward to seeing your creations !
I'm off into my craft room for the rest of the day now hopefully, enjoy your weekend

Festive Cards
Hi Everyone,
I have a set of cards to share today that I made using a free kit from one of the magazines, I think it was a Hunkydory kit. I must admit I don't usually even open these but I really loved the colours when I saw it and I really enjoyed putting these cards together so I think I will probably do more in the future.
I just added ribbon and pearls/gems from my stash and a bit of card to matt and I have 10 quick cards for my Christmas box :)

James and Snowman
Hi Everyone,
Where on earth has this week disappeared to ?!! I can't believe it is Friday tomorrow already and Christmas is definitely hurtling towards us at a slightly scary rate lol
With that in mind it's probably not a surprise that I have another Christmas card to share today, this is made using another LOTV Simply Print sheet 'James and Snowman'
This is another 8x8 card which I matted with smooth Kraft card, the papers are The Works and the Snowflake die is Clearly Besotted. Sentiment is DSB. Ribbon and pearls from stash.
I plan to use the smaller images to make a smaller set of cards and tags as I did with the previous image but time has been short this week.

Singing Robin
Hi Everyone,
Thank you for all the lovely comments on my last post, I hope you have all been having a lovely weekend. It has been non stop rain here again and hubby has been hiding in his workshop at the end of the garden as he couldn't do anything outside so there was nothing else for me to do but spend the day crafting...bliss :)
I recently bought quite a few of the Simply Print Christmas images from LOTV in an effort to boost my card count and also I thought they would be ideal for making my large 'special' cards for family.
The first card I have made is for hubby's parents
I used a lovely gold silk finish 8 x 8 card blank from Anna Marie Designs, the paper is Kaisercraft and is from a lovely freebie booklet in a magazine recently and I have matted that and the image onto navy card although it looks black in the photo as the lighting was bad again. I found the cute little heart die-cut in my snippets box (the die was another magazine freebie from 2 or 3 years ago now) and the pearl brad came from The Range. The gold organza ribbon I wanted to use was a bit too sheer on its own so I used it with a slate grey one underneath and I really like the effect.
You can't quite see in the photo but I added Stickles to the snow on the birdhouse and branches and also around the base of the tree.
As the Simply Print images print out over 3 sheets and I still need tons of Xmas cards I got my batch making head on Lol and thought while I was at it I would use the 4 smaller images to make some cards for my box and also slimming club's box.
I used various snippets of paper to make these very simple cards, keeping them nice and flat for postage I just added a few little snowflakes from a little punch my friend picked me up at a bootfair.
The 'Believe' sentiment is a freebie one from Annette at Netty's Cards, check out her blog here she has kindly produced lots of lovely sentiments and templates for crafters to use. The other sentiments are freebies from Buddly Crafts.
Then because I was on a roll I decided to make myself some cute little tags from the really small images, I cut them using a Clearly Besotted die.
The little sentiment is also CB.
That's all for now,
Hugs Kaz xx

Exciting News !
Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone is having a fab weekend, we have had rain all day so I have been hiding out in my craft room :)
I have some exciting news to share ! I was thrilled recently when Shell asked me to join her Design Team over at her My Time To Craft Challenge blog.
I'm a bit nervous as it's my first time on a DT so I hope I can do a good job :)
So I'm here to share my 1st DT card with you, the theme this fortnight is Paper Piecing and the challenge ends on 17th so you still have time to play at Challenge #358
I used a Woodware stamp for my card and lots of paper snippets from the ever growing mountain in my craft room ! You can't quite see in the photo but I have coated the berries with Glossy Accents.
As I had to stamp the bird several times to get the different pieces I made two other cards at the same time for my Christmas box, I didn't add ribbon to these ones so they are flatter for posting.
So that's 2 more for my Christmas stash !
That's all for now,

Snowglobes
Hi Everyone,
I have another lot of 'batch' cards to share with you today, first a set of Snowglobe ones that I made using a fairly recent freebie set from a magazine.
I'm sorry about the photos I'm having a lot of trouble with the settings lately plus I couldn't seem to get a photo without shadow (I really need a photo tent Santa if you're reading this ;) )
On this one I stamped the outline globe stamp in Versafine Onyx, then stamped the separate scene stamp then embossed the whole thing with clear powder. I then just added a touch of colour and Stickles to the snow. I realised after I stamped and embossed the image that I now had black snowflakes oops so I went over those with Stickles too.
Same image but embossed in Metallic Silver Superfine powder and matted onto navy card.
This one is again stamped in Silver and matted onto some gorgeous sparkly silver card from Papermill Direct. I'm totally in love with this card, it doesn't shed at all but unfortunately it only comes in packs of 5 sheets so I have been stroking rather than using hehe
On this one the globe is embossed with SuperFine Gold powder and the scene stamped in Versafine Onyx again, matted onto soft sheen gold card. The gems were added because I managed to get a black ink splodge :(
The sentiments on these cards are Clearly Besotted.

Purple Butterfly
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all ok, we are nearly at another weekend :) I have spent a lovely day chilling in my craft room today and managed to get quite a few Christmas cards done...still need plenty more though.
I also managed to make a card for the new challenge over at The Butterfly Challenge which is C for Chevrons and/or Purple (plus the butterfly of course) and this is what I came up with
I found the lilac chevron paper in my snippets box, I think it is from The lovely Studio (formerly Pink Petticoat) The butterfly paper was a magazine freebie and I have matted onto some purple Papermill Direct card. The butterfly was punched with a large Hobbycraft punch and the sentiment stamp was another magazine freebie a couple of years ago. Pearls and ribbon from stash.
I am entering this card into The Butterfly Challenge

Winter Wishes
Hi Everyone,
I'm finally back with a couple of Christmas cards to share with you, I've managed to add a few more to my card box in the last week or so....usually made at silly o'clock Lol
This first one was made with an embossed piece I found in my snippets box I think I had been trying out a magazine freebie folder and the Memory Box Tivoli Snowflakes (I used 2 together) I found in my die cut box and gave them a good coat of Wink of Stella. The sentiment is from a Woodware set.
This card is using the same tree stamp as the batch cards here but is just embossed in gold as is the sentiment from Clearly Besotted. I matted the panel onto Kraft card and added the strip of ribbon and a single large pearl from my stash.
I am entering this second card into Challenge #206 at A Gem of a Challenge - Ribbon and Pearls

Christmas Lights
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all having a great weekend, I'm sorry I have been absent this week but I have had an ear infection and it really affected my balance and made me very dizzy so I have only been able to do 5 mins here and there on the pc :(
I have been catching up on your lovely blogs and also got to spend a bit of time in my craft room this afternoon, hoping to spend the day in there tomorrow too.
I have a Christmas card to share today using 'Christmas Lights' from Pink Gem Designs, its one of the images I chose after my recent win over at Gem of a Challenge and I really enjoyed colouring him up.
I coloured him with Promarkers and added Glossy Accents to the lights and baubles. I used a sparkle gel pen on the snowflake on his jumper and on the baubles which you can just about see in the photos. The paper is from a freebie magazine pack and the sentiment is from a DSB set.
That's all for now I will be back tomorrow with a couple more Christmas cards,
