Another Twofer

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, it was my birthday on Friday and my daughter bought me a set of 12 distress markers :) I have wanted some for ages and couldn't wait to try them out so here are the 2 mothers day cards I made using them, I still need quite a lot of practising with them and made quite a few mistakes lol but I was quite pleased with the finished results.
Only thing is I can see that I am going to 'have' to buy some more colours shhh dont tell hubby !

The first card I made for my gorgeous daughter for her little girl to give her, she was so excited bless her, at 2 yrs old this was the first year she understood anything about it, although I must admit she was more interested in getting Mummy to open the chocolates rather than the card.....

I used one of my favourite stamps for my daughters card, it was a magazine freebie a couple of years ago and I think it was probably one of the first stamps I ever coloured up. The dp is actually the backing card from a free paper stack again from a magazine,  its been in my oddment box for ages so it was great to finally use it. I created the sentiment on my pc and used a woodware punch for the flowers.

My second card was the one I made for my MIL, again it was a freebie stamp - Crafters Companion 'Moonbeam Meadow' , the flowers are from The Ribbon Girl.

I am quite pleased with the photos this time, I made myself a makeshift light tent out of some white card and its made a huge difference. Now all I need to do is sort out my watermark...I have looked online but I am so useless at anything computer/technology that so far I haven't been able to figure it out...it doesn't take much to confuse me lol

See you soon,
Hugs,
Kaz xx

Hi Karen! Fabby cards, love your blog - just been having a reet ole nosey :) I came here from the lovely Barb's blog as well - why not come and join us in the snippets Playground sometime if you ever fancy joining in a challenge. Really the only challenge is to use a snippet (aka scrap) of paper, card, lace or whatever on your card - and have fun!

Happy blogging whatever you decide to do - just added myself as a follower.

Hugs

Di xx
