Back at last !

Hi Everyone,

I'm so glad to finally be posting again, I have missed it but to be perfectly honest I have made nothing worth showing lately my crafty mojo has been for a major walkabout !
We sadly lost a close family friend last month in tragic circumstances and that has contributed a bit to my lack of posting too.

But I need to shape up and find motivation from somewhere as I realised the other day that the craft fair I booked in for months ago is now suddenly only 2 weeks away !!

I have a wedding card to show you today that was commissioned by a friend recently

Not a great photo I'm afraid, I find white on white really difficult to photograph and it kept looking like the groom was standing there on his own bless him.... Lol
As you can see its quite a simple card, I kept it to white and cream as the wedding colour scheme was a secret.

It's an 8 x 8 card, I cut a piece of PMD smooth white card and scored lines using my hougie board to add some texture/interest, matted onto cream card. I used Wild Rose Studio and Joanna Sheen dies and added some tiny punched flowers. I went over the whole of the bride with my Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle and added tiny gems to the flowers and some gorgeous organza ribbon. The sentiment was computer generated.

I was also asked to make a bouquet charm for the bride as her son lives in Australia and was unable to be there with her on her special day, apparently she was moved to tears when she received it and Skyped her son on the morning of the wedding to show him he was with her in a way.

Hope you have all been having a lovely weekend despite the grotty weather (more crafting time ?)
Thanks for looking and if you leave a comment thank you so much they are hugely appreciated,

Hugs,
Kaz xx

What a stunning card Karen and that bouquet charm is inspired, no wonder your friend was moved to tears, I even had a lump in my throat reading about it! Fabulous and thoughtful! Thank you for continuing to pop by my blog and leaving your sweet comments, it means a lot to me, especially now, when my blogging and visits are so sporadic! I'm hoping Mum will be strong enough for me to ease off a little next year and I can get back to blogging proper again! Have a lovely weekend! Hazel xx
