Birthday Butterfly

Hi Everyone,

I have a little scalloped birthday card to show you today, I found some pretty card in my snippets box that I had embossed a few years ago to try out a freebie folder that came with one of the magazines. I had forgotten all about the folder until I came across this piece of card, I made a very quick and simple card as you can see...

I just cut a circle out of the embossed piece and matted onto a scalloped circle, the butterfly is made using my CB die and just popped up in the centre of the panel using silicone glue. I also went over the butterfly with Wink of Stella but it doesn't really show up in the pic. Very sparkly in RL though.
Just matted and layered with more snippets onto a little 5" scalloped card blank and added a few pearls. The sentiment is CB from the Many mini messages set.

As this card is made using entirely snippets from my bit box I would like to pop over for my first ever visit to Di and the Playground - Pixie's Crafty Workshop
I have wanted to enter this challenge for a long time so I hope there is room left in the sandpit ;) and judging by the amount of snippets I have (I keep even the tiniest piece of card and patterned paper as you never know when it might come in handy for a tiny flower or butterfly lol) I will be making frequent visits from now on !

Thats all for now, thanks for looking,

Hugs, Kaz xxx

Hi Karen! A huge welcome to the Snippets Playground - if the sand pit is too full then I just bet you'll find a few scamps hiding behind the bike shed up to no good!

Love your card, very CAS - and being pink makes it all the better, 'cos I love pink!

I do hope you come back and play again next time.

Hugs

A pretty snippets card - great that could find a way to use your already embossed piece.

Hi Karen

Hope everyone played nicely in the sandpit with you! You might need your bucket and spade out again this week!

Lovely pink butterfly snippets card.
