Two for One

Hi Everybody,

My first card to share with you did originally end up in the bin !

I used the stemmed flower from Penny Black set 'Petal Party' to stamp in Versamark onto Kraft then heated with white embossing powder. Started to colour with my Illustrator pens and that was where it started to go wrong lol,  I was colouring the petals and went over the embossing and it immediately stained so I had no option to then carry on colouring over the white embossed outline. When I finished I kept looking at it and thought no start again and binned it.

I then went to make a coffee and when I came back to my craft room about half hour later I saw it sitting on top of the bin and thought you know what that looks quite cool ! So I fished it back out and put it with this hot pink gingham paper scrap I had sitting on the desk. I covered the flower head with Wink of Stella and its really sparkly in RL. The sentiment is Clearly Besotted.

My next card is a christening card that someone requested, I used the LOTV image 'Baby Christening'

I used an Anna Marie 7x7 card blank and Pink Petticoat papers, I coloured the image with Promarkers and added a computer generated sentiment. Ribbon and pearls from my stash.

That's all for now,

Hugs, Kaz xxx

Two beautiful cards Kaz, I love your red flower - the gingham papers are perfect. I think it is always a good idea to walk away for a while when you are not very happy with something, it often looks better when you come back or you have other ideas about what to do with it.
Your baby card is is so pretty, an adorable image and lovely blue bow.

Two beautiful cards Karen. The baby image is adorable. I think you were right to retrieve it. It's turned into a lovely card and the pink gingham really gives it a super zingy summery look. I often think with these things the person recieving your card will never even know it wasn't how you first intended it to be. Barbxx
