I have a trio of Christmas Cards to share today using a Woodware stamp set 'Forest'
I used various shades of Distress Inks for the backgrounds brushed on with my Ink Duster brushes then dropped water on with a waterbrush, left for a few seconds and mopped up with kitchen towel.
I then stamped the trees with Memento Ink, masking the tree in the foreground to stamp the others. This is where it would have been handy to have a Misti as on a couple of the trees I didn't get the clear impression I wanted, I stamped the sentiment also from the set underneath and then cut the panels just a fraction smaller than the card fronts.
I'm going to enter the blue version into the lovely Darnell's NBUS Challenge as I bought this stamp set 2 years ago and this is the first time it has got an inking :)
Thats all for now,

I love this soft and dreamy design, Kaz! The background colors are the perfect choices and I love the splatters! I think you did an amazing job with the masking and inking and now I want that set, darn it! I'm glad you got it out to play and thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #12! Hugs, Darnell
Beautiful cards, Karen. Love the soft look of the blending. And yes, it's a beautiful stamp too.
